A BIGGER SLICE OF THE PIE!
Foreign Direct Investment Frontlines Coalition (FDI) cites NEAP as a glowing example of how US States are attracting and stimulating foreign investments.
The FDI Frontlines Coalition is a platform to educate state and local economic development organizations, governors, and mayors on how to build and maintain a welcoming and attractive business environment to global companies.
Through the FDI Frontlines Coalition, the Organization for International Investment (OFII) and its member companies, share best practices and insights into the best ways for state and local government to interact with the global business community. OFII is the only business association that exclusively represents the U.S. subsidiaries of foreign-headquartered companies. OFII’s mission is to work on state and federal policies that help the United States attract foreign direct investment.
This publication “FDI’s $400 Billion Secret” provides insights into how state and local government can respond to cross-border mergers and acquisitions. The Connecticut case study on “NEAP” highlights how one state (Connecticut) successfully responded and helped a global company enter its economy through an acquisition and be successful after the transaction.
