53rd International Paris Airshow
New England Airfoil Products Proud sponsor of Connecticut Reception
The International Paris Airshow is one of the most prestigious and most visited trade shows in the world. The Connecticut stand in the US Pavilion plays host to a number of Connecticut Aerospace manufactures amongst which is New England Airfoil Products - A Pietro Rosa TBM Company.
Leaders of the Civil and Defence aerospace business all frequent the show to gain an understanding of new developments in the industry and take the opportunity to seek out potential new suppliers to support the vast supply chains needed to create the products we see in the sky today.
Every year the Connecticut DECD hosts a reception that draws potential investors from all parts of the world along with the valued customers that make the State thrive as an Aerospace center of excellence. This year it was NEAP’s pleasure to sponsor the reception and talk to the crowds that came along to see what the State is doing in the Aerospace sector.
Beatriz Gutierrez executive director of business development - Connecticut DECD gave a warm welcoming speech to the crowd of visitors. Clive Cunliffe of Pietro Rosa Group gave the response thanking the state for the tremendous support given since acquiring New England Airfoil Products he stated:
“Just four short years ago a US facility was just an idea, a strategy yet to be deployed but where? At this very Airshow, we met with the then Governor of Connecticut Dannel Malloy and his DECD team. They spoke very convincingly about Aerospace companies in the State, what it could offer and how they could support. Six Months later we bought our first acquisition in Connecticut, The DECD team have lived up to, and surpassed every promise made, Thank you the State of Connecticut.”
